每年十一月的第四個星期四是Thanksgiving Day 感恩節(快到了), 前幾天男的問我那天
要做啥? 我說要切大南瓜(慶祝已過的萬聖節)。他噗笑一聲~~。知道啦~還不是要烤火雞,
但火雞肉又臭又硬, 是要烤來K人的嗎?
言歸正撰, 感恩節, 當然是要感謝這年你的收穫, 是誰讓你得到, 不管那個人是你討厭或喜
歡的, 維持表面和協, 然後大家以後好相處些。務實的美國人真是有頭腦, 他們可以借主之
名來寛恕所有罪人, 只是主說信祂者得永生(男的很不屑這一句, 但我想這一句不是排他條
款, 而是告訴人們可以借由信主而得到心靈的永生吧~ whatever~).
I am thankful for what I've got 先說說我今年的果實和我要感謝的:
1- 感謝得到一個超級調皮, 機靈又口愛的my bb. 豐富我的生活。
2- 感謝老爸來美國完成我的心願。
3- 感謝老弟為台灣的家付出許多, 你做得很perfect~~太棒了。
4- 感謝老弟成熟的智慧讓我也受益良多。
5- 感謝老哥有配合做了一些自理的事。
6- 感謝男的出錢出力為老爸做了一些事, 雖他心有不滿但還是感謝。
7- 感謝男的有時很聽我的話(可能是我太恰了)
8- 感謝老太婆的銀子讓我有房子待。(因為分開所以大家才又相敬如賓)
9- 感謝陌生人冷的眼神和熱的情愫讓我知道自己要踏出哪一步。
10-感謝網路, 讓我可以在家帶小孩又能唸書看新聞寫信種菜。
11-感謝感恩節, 感謝我有機會看到聽到學到體會到美國的點滴分享給台灣。
12-無論未來日子變化如何, 總會過去的, 所以~ 先學會珍惜才能感謝得到。

- Pay attention to the people around you. You will find that everybody has something to worry or complain about, not just you. It's easy to focus on those who seem to have it be, what could've been, and what you don't have. Recognize what you do have--whether you like it or not, it's yours to keep or to change. Accepting your lot in life is not about resigning yourself to unhappiness. It's about not wasting time wishing for what you don't have. You could try writing a list of things you want, and things you have. Consider the thought that many less fortunate people will want some of the basic things that you have.
- Become a problem solver. Use your lemons to make lemonade. Get in the habit of asking yourself how you can turn the negative into a positive. The most successful people in life, and those who have the most to be grateful for, are also those who've endured tremendous trials and managed to persevere and turn it all around.
- Learn to see hardship as a chance to develop character. Imagine yourself looking back ten years from now and recounting your difficult circumstances, and being proud of how you handled it and worked through it.
- Develop a gratitude journal. It's pretty simple. At the end of every day, write down five things that have made you happy or appreciative that day; not necessarily big things, even small ones count.
- For example: 1) nice weather, 2) being thanked by a customer at work, 3) my pet, 4) having people who love me, 5) or a funny joke to tell everyone.

- Volunteering to help those in need will help put things in perspective.
